Ūkio bankas has Expanded Client Service Network

Ūkio bankas in cooperation with Lietuvos paštas, has expanded client service network not only in the largest cities but also in small towns. From now on it is possible to withdraw or deposit cash to one’s own Ūkio bankas card account in 28 units of Lietuvos paštas. This partnership expands Ūkio bankas service network from 60 to almost 90 points in all Lithuania.
“Due to this partnership we will be able to provide daily relevant service to our clients in small towns of the country – now, if you want to withdraw cash or to deposit money to your payment card account, you will not have to go to bigger cities. It is not financially optimal to establish separate bank unit or ATM in small towns and this decision especially effectively supplementing our client service network will help us to get closer to our clients”, - said Justas Babarskas, Head of Commerce Unit of Ūkio bankas.
Transactions are performed with the help of electronic card readers that were established in Lietuvos paštas units by Ūkio bankas. Except for withdrawal and deposit transactions, the clients will be able to get information on the balance on their card account with the help of the reader.
According to J. Babarskas, convenient places for the said transactions can be found not only in the smaller towns but also in the sleeping districts of the biggest cities.
Now it is possible to withdraw and to deposit cash to payment cards accounts in two post units in Vilnius city (Tyzenhauzų and Architektų str.), three units in Kaunas city (Prancūzų, P.Lukšio, Eivenių str.), and in more than twenty cities and towns of the country: Siesikai, Daugailiai, Rokiškis, Obeliai, Kavoliškis, Žiežmariai, Šėta, Pelėdnagiai, Skaudvilė, Daugai, Simnas, Antanavas, Kazlų Rūda, Šakiai, Smalininkai, Kuršėnai, Šeduva, Rietavas, Priekulė, Salantai, Vilkyškis, Švėkšna, Pakruojis.
“We believe that this new possibility will be convenient and relevant. In future depending on demand and popularity of the service we are planning to expand the number of the points and will assess possibilities to offer other services in cooperation with Lietuvos paštas“, - said J. Babarskas.
Ūkio bankas is the first commercial bank for the third decade providing reliable service in its own, wide client service network of 60 units in all the country. Payment cards of Ūkio bankas are serviced in 270 joint network ATMs.
